Sex Work Explodes at Davos Economic Summit

Every January, the world’s richest and most powerful people gather in Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum (WEF). Hotel prices skyrocket. Private jets fill the airport. And according to new data, sex work bookings go through the roof.

The Numbers of a Sex Work Platform Are Shocking

A Swiss dating and sex work platform called Titt4tat just released data about what happens during WEF week. The statistics are eye-opening. Bookings increased by 4,000% compared to normal weeks. On a typical day, Davos gets about 2 bookings. But on January 19th during WEF, there were 79 requests in a single day.

Over the past year, the number of users in Davos jumped by 4,000%. The platform connects people willing to provide sexual services with customers who can pay for them. During WEF, business absolutely explodes.

Unlike traditional escort agencies, Titt4tat doesn’t use professional sex workers. According to the platform, most providers are college students, teachers, and international travelers looking to make extra money on the side. They’re not full-time professionals.

This year, many workers traveled from the United States, Russia, and Ukraine specifically to be in Davos during WEF week. The opportunity to make serious money in just a few days was worth the trip.

What Do the Rich and Powerful Want?

The platform’s internal data shows some interesting patterns. This year, demand for Black sex workers increased significantly. While the app doesn’t have a filter for skin color, user behavior tells a clear story about what clients are searching for.

The record-breaking deal on the platform was 96,000 Swiss francs, which equals about 104,000 euros or $113,000. That massive price tag covered four days with five women. But that wasn’t even the final cost. Hotels, gifts, chauffeur services, meals and entertainment were all extra. The actual total was probably much higher.

Some sex workers shared their stories on the platform. One woman spent a weekend with a corporate CEO and afterward he offered her a high-paying job at his company. Others report getting flown to Dubai on private jets, taking shopping trips to Paris, and spending intimate evenings in expensive mountain chalets.

These aren’t quick hotel room encounters. Clients are paying for days of companionship in luxury settings. The workers get to experience a lifestyle most people only see in movies.

Why Does This Happen at WEF?

Think about who attends the World Economic Forum. CEOs of major corporations, politicians and government leaders, billionaire investors, and tech industry leaders all gather in one place. These are mostly men with enormous wealth and power. They’re away from home in a small Swiss resort town where hotels are full of other wealthy people doing business deals. Money is flowing freely everywhere you look.

The combination creates perfect conditions for the sex work industry to thrive. When you put that much concentrated wealth in one location, service providers of all kinds show up to meet the demand.

While news cameras focus on panel discussions about climate change and economic policy, this shows what else happens when the global elite gather. Behind the official summit, there’s a whole parallel economy of luxury services catering to the ultra-wealthy.

The 4,000% spike in bookings isn’t a coincidence. It’s a direct result of concentrating so much wealth and power in one small location for a few days each year. Where there’s money, there are people ready to provide services.
